Hi, I’m Michelle Cromer, and I am Perla Maldonado.
As we are filming this, I’m in a great deal of pain.
I’ll be having surgery soon—and while I know healing is coming, right now… it’s hard. The pain is deep, constant, and humbling. Even the smallest movements take effort.
But through it all, one thing has continued to support me: my space.
Today, we want to share how Feng Shui—the ancient art of creating energetic harmony in our environment—can help us heal.
Because pain isn’t just physical. It can be emotional. Spiritual. Energetic. And our homes… they hold all of it.
Tip #1: Clear stagnant energy.
Pain often creates heaviness. So does clutter. In Feng Shui, clutter blocks the flow of chi—life force energy. So start small. Clear a drawer. A shelf. A corner where you rest. As you do, ask yourself: Does this support my healing? If not, bless it—and let it go.
Tip #2: Activate the health area of your home.
This is often the center of your space—or wherever your kitchen is. Keep it clean. Add earth elements: grounding stones, ceramics, fresh plants. Place something there that reminds you: I am healing. I am supported.
Tip #3: Make your bedroom a sanctuary. This is where your body repairs itself. So make it feel sacred. Choose soft, calming colors. Remove bright lights and electronics. Let your bedroom say: You are safe. You can rest now.
Tip #4: Balance the five elements.
In Feng Shui, healing comes through balance.
- Water helps emotions flow.
- Earth brings support.
- Metal offers clarity.
- Wood inspires growth.
- Fire activates energy.
Ask yourself: What am I missing? Then gently bring it in.
Tip #5: Create a healing nook.
Set aside a space—a shelf, a tray, a windowsill—just for you. Add a candle. A photo. A stone. A simple note that reads: I welcome healing into my life. Don’t overthink it. Just sit. Breathe. And remember—healing is sacred.
Pain isolates. It contracts. But Feng Shui reminds us that space can open, soften, and restore. Your space matters. Your energy matters. And you—your healing, your wholeness—absolutely matter.
