We are all spending more time at home due to the spread of the COVID-19. It is now more important than ever to keep the air in our homes clean, and there are many simple things we can do to assure we are doing this. Below are a few feng shui tips.
- Clean up your clutter: clutter is stagnant energy and we need the air to flow freely especially during this time of “Shelter in Place.”
- Air filter: filters are an effective way to remove odors, bacteria, mold and more from any area.
- Essential oils: they not only purify the air, but they also have an uplifting impact. I use lemongrass, eucalyptus, and tea tree oil. You can layer these on your body or diffuse them to clean any space.
- Spray your home top to bottom: I make my own spray out of Aloe Vera liquid and alcohol, three parts to one part. Aloe Vera is not just a great plant to keep around for relieving burns, it is also amazing for drawing formaldehyde from the air
- Open up your windows: let the fresh air flow and it will dramatically refresh your space.
- Have plants in your home: breathe in new life into your home by using plants to keep your home’s air clean and fresh.
This time might be scary for some but I guarantee when you clean up your air, you also will be incorporating the process of renewing and recycling whatever you want in your life.
Be safe and stay well!
