Since the onset of COVID19, the majority of my Feng Shui questions have focused on attracting material wealth, which ironically is one of the main reasons Feng Shui came to people in the West.

Each home or office has a section that represents wealth and abundance. If you are standing at the front of your home or office, the furthest left area or corner represents your wealth. By using certain design elements with intention, you can enhance the energy of prosperity in your wealth corner.

Here are some wonderful ways to enhance the energy or chi of this area.

–Put a water feature in the corner, such as a fountain. Or, place a symbol of wealth like an aquarium because fish tanks in this area create auspicious feng shui. The aquarium can be small, and goldfish are the best in representing wealth.

–Images can be a powerfully symbolic way of expressing the desired result. Place art that prominently features water in the corner, such as an image of moving water representing money effortlessly flowing.

–Have lush green living plants in the corner to support the growth of prosperity. Nature is the ultimate manifestation of unlimited wealth and abundance so replicating that energy will help to attract the same energy.

–Purple and gold are the Feng Shui colors most associated with wealth. Rooms that occupy the wealth corner can also be decorated in greens, browns, purples, and blues.

–Certain crystals are powerhouses and bring the essence of abundance from deep within the earth. Citrine crystals are most commonly associated with attracting prosperity and consequently, they deserve a prominent place in your wealth corner.

–Prosperity symbols in your wealth area can also help to attract money energy. These can be things that represent prosperity to you, such as expensive objects, or they may be something more universal, such as jade plants or an archetypal symbol of wealth like the Hindi goddess Lakshmi.

Above all, understand the most successful Feng Shui applications are the ones that are highly personalized and carry strong meaning to you. Creating energy in your home or workspace that attracts money energy takes a little effort, and enhancing your prosperity corner is a great way to send a message to the universe you are open to receive wealth. With simple feng shui applications, you’ll be well on your way to a more prosperous life.
