The art of using flowers to promote good chi and good luck is as ancient as feng shui itself.
Flowers evoke a feeling of beauty, grace, and sensuality and that’s why I make sure to have them in my home every week. Flowers have a common language of harmony and live flowers bring a strong healing energy to any space.
Bring in colors that represent the feeling you want in a particular room: red and pink for romance passion; yellow for health; white for better communication; green for prosperity; and orange if you are trying to make a good impression.
Flowers are a simple, beautiful yet powerful way to change and shift the energy in your home.

I took this photo on a recent trip to Scotland. This is the furthest left-hand corner, on the first floor, of a hotel that is a converted castle. This room represents the business wealth and prosperity. What a great job! Doesn’t this room look rich? I can tell you first hand it certainly felt rich.
The fundamental principle of Feng Shui is balancing the chi in your home to increase love, abundance, health, and joy. We do this by using the five-element principle of water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. This system is based on the Daoist premise that we are all One, and everything is made up of these five energies. The universe, planets, rivers, mountains, animals, plants and you all consist of these elements to sustain life and to sustain balance.
Nothing in Feng Shui is “out of sight, or out of mind” especially your closets. Everything is energy, everything has chi, so there are no boundaries. It is a rare house that I go to that has organized closets so you are not alone if you need to clean yours up.
The outside of your home needs to be evaluated using Feng Shui in order to make sure it is in alignment with your goals and to strengthen the chi and balance the energy for better results.
